Anti-Piracy Case Study
Case Study
We have conducted hundreds of anti-piracy cases for all the major movie studios in theatres all over the province of Ontario. Services included meeting studio representatives, theatre managers, camera supervisors, logging the digital hard-drive ID, professional presentation and dress code, utilization of night-vision goggles during movie premiers and conducting interviews of those caught attempting to pirate movies.
In one case study an individual was arrested for using a hidden camera to record the movie screen while the movie premiered. Through an interview it was determined that the individual was recording the movie and then selling it to a front company in Asia. The studio did not exercise their right to charge the individual but were able to use his testimony for a larger case against individuals in Asia.
